Why did I choose my major?

Hi everyone!

As I commented before, I am studying industrial design at the Universidad de Chile.

I have no recollection of what was my dream job as a child, but in adolescence I wanted to study accounting. I managed to study a little, since at school I obtained a technical degree in administration with a mention in human resources, so I realized that I did not want to spend my whole life in front of a desk in 4 walls.

Design was the only major that caught my attention so I jumped into the water. This year I chose industrial design because it implies a great challenge, I like to have my hands in the dough and being able to help people by generating practical solutions.


I'm not in the best university, but the degree has excited me a lot, I feel like I'm where I belong and I have good friendship, my experience has been pleasant.

My favorite dessert

Hello everyone, today I want to tell you about my favorite dessert. Red Velvet cake is a popular dessert known for its intense red color and fluffy texture. It is a chocolate-flavored cake accompanied by cream cheese frosting. To prepare it, ingredients such as flour, sugar, butter, eggs, cocoa powder, red food coloring, and milk are combined. The preparation process involves mixing the dry ingredients separately from the wet ingredients.  Then, both groups are combined to create a smooth batter. I love its vibrant red color, which gives it a distinctive appearance, while the smooth combination with cream cheese achieves a perfect balance of flavors.
